The term food chain is basically the order in which animals, or living things, depend on each other for food. This food chain lacing set comes in a set of four demonstrating how the food chain works. It includes wooden pieces of an insect, a frog, a snake and a bird along with a string. Children can use the string to put it through each wooden piece thus creating the food chain cycle.
